Actually though it was just a really small brush.

LOL Same with me I used to paint minis and I would dip them in the inks to give them shading and I never really liked the look that they had after so I would pick up some of my moms Hairspray in a can(I was 10 BTW) and I been doing satin-flat whenever gloss isn't absolutely necessary. Not sure if it is harder than gloss though, what troubles are you having with it?

No troubles at all.
I think that a really high gloss piece has that little bit of a distraction value that a Satin piece does not.
Granted it takes alot of work to get a very nice & high gloss.
If you get what I mean.

 

interesting how the bot shots the purple looks pink, but the jet shots its a rich purple. How come you didn't make all of your attachments show up full-size instead of just a few?

Yeah he is somewhere in the middle of pink and purple(those are the colors I mixed together actually), Might retake the jet pics. You mean put them all big in the thread instead of as attachments? I just put up a few because I know how long it can take for a lot of pictures to load, plus all of them can be clicked and seen full size(unless my computer makes that happen?).

Really toonish! I love it!! Not crazy about the pinkish purple but I think it's only because of the lighting cause the pic in jet mode is spot on.

 

I was actually happy with the hasbro color sheme way more so than the Henkai paint job. It just made him look evil I thought to my self hasbro did a great job, could not have done better. Then I seen this thread. Awesome job. He looks important now.

Wow, so are you saying you get those results with a brush? You can't see any strokes at all, very impressive. I always assumed your work was primarily done by airbrush and/or spray. You've got some serious talent man.
