as mentioned in the other thread, last Friday a bit of a surprise popped up here... all six Target-exclusive Scouts showed up [which i guess had been rumored to be standard release in some international markets but i'm not sure] in mainstream stores. i mnanaged to pck up a Strongarm and Skyblast at the Kidzstation toy store booth at Cybertron Philippines' recently concluded Cyber Con 2007 -- i'm tempted to pick up a Clocker and Signal Flare at some point later on -- and snapped some quick comparison pics. of note: Strongarm's colors, particularly the tan/green mix, are a lot more muted and subdued than on the packaging. His helmet is also painted black. Skyblast's jet cockpit is exactly the same as on the Energon mold and cannot achieve the odd positioning the back of the card has it in.
Nice! I'm really digging that Skyblast. That color scheme looks great on him. Plus, most of my Autobot aircraft are white and red. It'd be nice to have some body who's got a different livery. Might have to get that Strongarm, for a Brawn kitbash. Damn, I hate suporting store exclusives....
Very nice pics! I'm all over that Strongarm. He'll go nicely on my Classics shelf. I can't stand the Skyblast mold, so he's an easy pass.
