    Time for another "vs" thread!

As Prime's Cyberverse line has managed to blow my cap off, reversing my feelings about it after Dark of the Moon, I've been giving a lot of thought to only getting Cyberverse and virtually ditching the mainline. However, there are a few figures, like Wheeljack, that I'd stil buy the large version of.

What are you opinions on Cyberverse compared to the mainline? Was Dark of the Moon better or worse, and what's the conparison between mainline and Cyberverse there? And would you, like me, consider only getting the Cyberverse line, or are you passing it up entirely?

And what are your feelings on individual figures? e.g., Cyberverse Megatron blowing the Voyager out of the water.

I say both. I only like cyberverse commander class figures, as they are pretty much the new basic size. So in that way it's limited in regards to my taste.

However, the main line has been quite disappointing to me (especially since I can't get FE Prime), while also having some gems.

That sets them pretty equal in my book. If the cyberverse commanders had neck rotation, like Prime, they'd all be automatically bought!

I like Cyberverse better. They don't have to deal with ridiculous gimmicky guns or severe lack of paint aps, plus it actually gives us things like all three Wreckers/Dreads and Starscream with a red crest.

On the other hand, it's beyond stupid Breakdown got a Legion instead of Commander.

With almost all mainstream toy lines downsizing their figures, I kinda get this feeling that Cyberverse is the future. Once Hasbro manages to master designing Commander class, my guess is that that will be the new "Deluxe" class, and the current Deluxe class will become the new "Voyager" class. Which may not be such a bad thing after all because it makes play sets viable, something that is lacking in the Transformers toy lines.

Hate to post in my own thread, but that's the worst thing ever. I'm gonna commission FansProject or someone like that to make a Commander Breakdown. You don't even need to change the weapon.

I've been buying the mainline stuff, but now I'm really considering ditching those and going the Cyberverse route if I want to continue collecting anything Prime related.

At least at those smaller scales I can accept the figures not looking as accurate as their onscreen counterparts.

Both, I mainly focus on the mainline, but also pick up the CV figures of characters that won't be around for awhile in bigger sizes. Like Brakedown and Dreadwing or Vehicon since he's going to be hard to find.

Since I'm only collecting Generations, have to go mainline, til they announce a Cyberverse line. Which, if that equals Legends class, I'll buy like it's my fucking job.

You left out "Neither" but if I had to pick one, it would be never cyberverse/legends.

Collecting both. Originally planned investing on the main line, but as soon as I tried legions Cliffjumper out of curiousity I got horribly hooked.

Both, but I prefer the Legion/Cyberverse over the mainline figures.
The main line is still nice in most regards, but has failed too many times for me to be completely sold on them. The FE fiasco doesn't help either.
As for Cyberverse, you get the entire cast (minus a proper Soundwave for now), cheap army builders and playsets. The figures themselves are pretty darn fun to fiddle with, not to mention the excellent Commander figures.

I still think the G1 minibots are horrible, and some of the older Legends aren't much better, but the Cyberverse line has really taken off and seems to have a very bright future.

Main line for right now, though since Hasbro announced Voyagers for the Generations line, there may be a chance for Cyberverse Generations...

May buy a few Cyberverse at some point though.
