:lol  That bio is awesome! I don't typically buy cyberverse but I'll make an exception here.

Looks awesome. Cyberverse seems pretty cool from what I've seen and played with.

He does look wicked^^ I'm still not entirely sure if I'll be getting him or sticking with my WIP (just needs paint now) Guzzle... I'll need to see him in hand I guess
But it is nice to see characters besides Optimus and Bumblebee getting toys ^_^ (I jest, I jest... sorry, tired from laying tile)

Do you guys think this one will shoot sparks? It would be really inaccurate if it didn't.

Nah, I'm just kidding. He looks pretty cool! I'm excited since even without his roles in fiction, he was the G1 Sparkabot that I had as a kid. Even with the more exaggerated proportions, the colors, especially the blue face, make him look like an old friend.

Bonus points for not being a brick.

Guzzle was one of my very first real transformers, and while I never much liked it at the time, this is a really awesome homage that surpasses the original by miles. It brings back a nostalgia I didn't think was there.

They did an excellent job of updating the design. It's both a good representation of the movieverse style and a good representation of the character.

Man, and people thought Classics Grimlock was too small... ;)

This is the first Legends figure I actually want to buy. But, I guess the "commander" class is closer to Scout?

I LOVE the "small guy" homages they're squeezing into this category, PG was love, and now THIS, low(ish)-development costs + traditional-small-character + low-price-point-toy = Fan favorite in plastic form without much risk.

SO well done too. I hope Cyberverse continues as a format for a LONG time to come!

It's really in between "legends" and "scout" they work REALLY nicely as "big guys" in Legends scale or "little guys" in normal scale, very smart play-pattern development by Hasbro & co!

Agreed! Aside from G1 Minibots and MiniCons, when about did Legends class come about? Seems like around the Cybertron line.

Yeah, they originated in Cybertron. But the early ones were not even in the same league as the latest offerings. I think ROTF Devastator and Universe Wheelie were the first really impressive ones.

As if I didn't have enough reason to buy this guy alone simply because I thought his character in LSoTW, there are two more reasons I can tell from the stock pics:

    1. It looks like Hasbro is continuing the trend of homages with seemingly random vehicle markings. In this case, it appears to be C-some combination of numbers and a square with warning stripes. The original Guzzle had a large warning stripe deco in the same general area, and I strongly suspect that "C-something" number is in fact his japanese number. I love little homages like that.

    2. I can't tell for certain, but it appears the turret does NOT turn around, the bulk of the turret actually being the lower arms in robot mode. However, the main tank cannon barrel appears to be randomly sticking out from Guzzle's back, but there does not appear to be any reason why it can not be propped up to stick straight up. Just like the original.

I do believe it can be oriented straight up.

Yeah, it can be pointed up. It's pointing down to fit in the package, but, the instructions for the figure also show the gun pointing down, as if that's the official way to point it. But screw that, mine's going up
