I was sitting here looking at my WFC figures, and my Movie line figures.
Do you guys ever wonder, if it would be in Hasbros interest to start maybe TWO Opposing lines of figures?

A mainstream line, Movie, Prime, Generations, etc. Then have them focus on a PURELY Cybertronian mode line for the collectors? We may not make up the majority, but a small line of Figures, maybe 4 per wave, of NON Earth based modes, would sell well.

I'm fairly certain Hasbro know the collectors out there spend large sums to buy a figure. They can either be Human alliance style in Size and detail. or 1 Leader and other size categories.

Since im back to WFC, It's been running through my mind.

It would be nice, but I doubt it would ever happen. The collectors make up a small percentage of the people who buy Hasbro's toys, so I highly doubt that they would put out a full line for us. I could see a few convention exclusives or some stuff thrown into other lines like they did with WFC, but not a pure line with no mainstream media backing it up to further the sales.

I've always wanted to see a "Then and Now" two pack line made of characters in both their Cybertronian and Earth forms.

THAT would be cool. Protoform/Cybertronian and Earth/Wherever forms, would be awesome.

The WFC line is currently my favorite line in the entire lineup. They get front and center spots on the shelf. I agree that an expanded Cybertronian line is needed.
Id kill for a WFC Jetfire and Starscream !

I have a feeling the 2nd video game will fill a few of these holes.

only if the cybertronian alt modes were simplistic, like wfc Bumblebee/prime/soundwave or the "tetrajet seekers" from MTMTE. NOT just a lump of mass with a turret on top.
No movie designs at all

Wait, so you want to have Generations, and then another, even more collector-oriented line? Good luck. I can't imagine that kicking off.

I'll definitely want that line of Cybertronian figs, but like everyone said, it's not very probable. The 3rd parties may do something about it. Who knows? A War Within Devastator to go with Hercules and Giant? :D

You're in luck because Fall of Cybertron is getting a devoted toyline late next year.

But if you are itching for Cybertronian modes for anything else, it most likely won't happen unless the designs are shown in something. It might be cool to get a Cybertronian mode Drift someday, or Bludgeon.

They tried the collectors line with titanium and well....we know how that went.

Although, to be honest, the limitations made by die cast made for some pretty terrible figures. Die cast is cool and nostalgiac and all but id love to see them try again. All plastic, maybe some extra paint apps and a higher price point. Id be down with that.

But really, the "standard" stuff is all pretty great and can be quite collector friendly/aimed as well so. It might be a bit redundant

But to answer the op, yeah. There's rumors of a fall of cybertron line so. We'll see.

We still have the end of the movie line and the prime toys to come yet

I severely hope this FoC Line talk does not stem from SHADOW TELLS ME.

I really don't know what it is about cybertronian modes that makes the fandom go nuts for. A few sprinkled here and there is cool, but the demand for a full-blown line for them is beyond my comprehension.

I've wanted this for a LONG time. I've got a Cybertronian Decepticon Classics group on my shelf, lead by Shockwave (none of that WFC shit either), and it's probably my favorite!

I'd be all over this line, granted they had varying sizes from scout to leader.

That's my thought exactly. "Band Man Sez" shouldn't even be a thought.

I have a heavy bias (Cybertron is my favorite toy line of all time), but I think it'd hit if done as well as the Cybertron toy line.

Even if the rumors is just "he tell me" we do know that its very likely hasbro will do a few for when the game comes out like they did with wfc. Hasbros already said they have a short list of wfc toys they'd love to make but weren't able to. Foc would give them the perfect excuse to make a few more

No. Classics alone is enough as a collector oriented line.

I don't think I'd even bother getting into a line full of cybertronian mode toys. I'd rather them just put those funds into moar classics.
