Very nice! I think this actually looks a million times better than the toy's original scheme (and it was good to begin with).

Laserbeak looks great! Soundwave is very well done too - love that you included the lamp post mode (the only G1 Cybertronian mode I will accept for Soundwave lol)

I wish Hasbro would do a Soundwave like that. Looks amazing.

This looks great. It's amazing how good this figure looks with your paint job.

Excellent painting as always, good work on that Lazerbeak too :)

Out of interest, do ever take shots in natural light? Always wondered how your style holds up with less contrast, away from the black backdrop. The colours & finish always look quite rich, so I assume they're vibrant in natural light.

That sounds like it's probably more of an insult, if anything. :p

Thank you all for your comments! I really really appreciate them ;)

    Nope, they aren't
They came from Crossovers Captain America's shield ;)

It's 2 tones effects, lighter over darker shade. I don't think there's an actual out of the can Soundwave color out there.

    Thanks!
They do look quite vibrant under natural light as well :)

Simply amazing. Love that coat of blue, makes the figure look so much better.

Could you possibly post what type/brand of paint you used? I've tried Testors enamel as well as GW Acrylic paints, but they don't seem to give the figure a "smooth" coating.

Both those brands should give you a pretty smooth coat. Are you diluting them at all before applying them? It's always best to work in multiple thin coats of paint; it goes on much more smoothly.

Brilliant cell shaded styling as always man! I love it! Kudos for the lamp post mode. Beyond the epic paintjob that I probably couldn't say enough fully express to you how awesome I think they are, you really out did your self on that MTMTE/Cybertron style Laserbeak. That is SOOOOOOO epically awesome I ..... well, that's about all you can say about it. It needs no further elaboration. Please please please spill the beans on all the parts you used to make him.

Every Soundwave mode that mattered and a slick paintjob to boot. How can anything be better than that. Oh yeah, add a custom Lazerbeak to the mix and j00 get the best Soundwave evah.
