I've just given up on believing any leaks or rumors. I'll just wait for the movie. I don't know what's true or not at all.
Could be Bob's interpreting 'misinformation' differently - as in information that's not 100% accurate, as opposed to deliberate misdirection.
Think about it, the best way to get fake info out is to hide it in just enough true info. But rumors are rumors and we should all take them with a grain of salt.
it just really bugs me-we have 2 sources, both "reliable," yet completely contradicting themselves. i specifically remember back when the long haul info was "confirmed" that one of the mods (i think Super_Megatron or something like that, but dont quote me on that) said they wouldnt say things are "confirmed" unless the mods were certain. Orci said he was no part of the misinformation campaign in any way shape or form. then we are told that Soundwave is a pickup by one source, and then told hes not by another. so who is wrong?

There is a difference between a member of the production company sending an anonymous email saying "lol Soundwave is a pickup truck" and Michael Bay organizing to have an icecream truck transported around the country to try and throw fans off the scent.
Besides, the Soundwave thing could be something as simple as he is a truck, and it looks sort of like a pickup, but technically isn't.
