In the final battle the autobots get one of the tower pillars interrupting the teleportation of Cybertron. Then they finally take out the control pillar they make Cybertron (or half of it) implode.

Do you think that the beam reached the other half of Cybertron destroying it completly or maybe that chunk is still safe in the other corner of the galaxy with decepticon and autobot remnants?

What you are describing is what happened earlier when Optimus knocked the control pillar down and it went into stand by mode. Notice how all that orange/red glow around the planet had disappeared. At this moment, one could say Cybertron was literally sliced in half for a few minutes.

But what happens at the end is the equivalent of a toilet flushing. Most likely the debris got spat back out on the others side colliding with what remained of the planet further devastating it.

 

I don't know how physics works, but if it imploded wouldn't their be debris or a black hole or something still left behind? It wouldn't just dissappear completely. I'd say it was either just a fancy teleport-back effect or it's gone somehow and somewhere Cybertron is floating around with about 1/5th of it missing.

Which I guess would make it look a lot like G1 Cybertron.

according to the suck back theory of black holes that Michael bay creates with huge death laser beams....if it does not end in a huge explosion...it implodes the object and causes the huge explosion on the other side...

either way Michael Bay is getting his explosion  

 

Oh come on, it was a broken, shattered world, carved in half by telefrag, and then black-holed into rubble. It's gone.

the surviving half of Cybertron is a likely candidate for TF4 imo. It could be part of the plot in some way shape or form and probably will be.

 

 

 

Bumblebee & Ratchet will be bullied by the Autobots from now on.

 

He's probably gonna feel bad, but he really shouldn't. It's not like their species could ever go back.

It all depends on what the sequel (if it happens) says, really.

 

It's possible that the slice of the planet in Earth's orbit didn't go straight back to the whole of Cybertron when it imploded, instead being torn apart in transit, trapped between dimensions in subspace.

 

That would explain why there was no debris.

 

Of course the effects could've just bee reversed, as people have said, and Cybertron is still whole.

But then in the sequel, it'd be cool if it was "In-half", and something that was concealed in the core got free, something evil.

Dare I say Unicron?

 

Why would Unicron be at the core of Cybertron? If anything, it should be Primus.
