Just an idea that I've had all summer. Having a remold of Cybertron Optimus Prime redone as Ultra Magnus. The base robot would more or less be the same except the faceplate is up in normal mode and the helmet vent would be opened up. The legs and feet would be done a little differently. The supermode would be where you'd see the noticeable difference. Parts of the 'trailer', particularly the upper car lift part would detach to become the supermode arms while the robot mode arms would be stored in the back similar to how one of Optimus' arms is stored when Leobreaker attaches. The front portions of the upper carrier would reinforce the supermode legs. The rest of the trailer would mount on the back. Unlike Optimus the superweaponry would be on the arms and not on the wings. Inserting a Cyber key would open up a ton of missile launchers CD Hotshot style on the upper part of the shoulders. And in supermode the faceplate would fold down to reveal the mouth. Comments and crits are appreciated on the design and the artwork.

I really like the way you pulled off the faceplate reversal design. I'd be interested in seeing more of the trailer design in vehicle mode.

Due to popular demand (all two of you), here's a quick sketch of the alt mode.

I like it. I repainted an LOC Prime into an Ultra Magnus, so this obviously really appeals to me!

Damn, that is wicked awesome! What I wouldn't do to see that realized as a mass produced figure...

Wow... I would LOVE to see an Ultra Magnus figure handled this way. Nice refit of an existing design.

Dang, I wish HasTak would do inspired remolds like this, rather than just repaints.

Also, great drawings. I'm new here, so pardon me for stating the obvious. A real traditional technical illustration style, but not rigid. Ideal for TFs! Obvious pro. :)
