Has anyone here bought the Chinese Starscream KO? I'm curious, is it the same size as the Voyager mold? Also, how is the quality, is it any good at all?

I have 3 of them. Same size as Galaxy Force Starscream. They suck. The heads fall out like nothing, they are cheap and flimsy. But hey they are only $7. They are great kitbash fodder. WWI Seekers are well on their way to being done.

Er... where are you guys getting these for $7?

From this ebay seller, the price after shipping comes to about $22, which is a bit extreme for a bad KO. If you guys know where to get these on the cheap side, hook us up! :)

And when you say these suck, do you mean they suck by the standards of regular TFs or do they suck by the standards of KO toys?

Still waiting to hear where people are getting these for $7... :)

Also, waiting for a review that measures these things fairly against the normal standard for KO transformers. I'd love to know if they are at least "alright".

The seller I got them from no longer has any listed. I got a few from my guy, asked him to tear them out of the package and combine shipping. He grudgingly complied and they were 6.99 plus $20 to ship all 3. I bought 3 more from cool6299 when he had them for 6.99, but he charges $12 per KO. The are worth $20 a piece if you can settle with you can't get GF Starscream for less that $80. There quality is not terrible. The plastic is cheaper, paint aps not as nice, details are damn close, and his head falls right off. Other than that, he's better quality than the Big Lots RID Ko's.

Thanks for the info! Still a bit pricey (especially to get a set of 3 for Seeker completeness, but I'll definitely be on the lookout for some of these at a better price. I'm sure the loose head problem is easily fixed with a bit of kitbashing, eh? :)

Yeah, they are really only worth getting for kitbashing. They come in some of the largest, cheapest and weakest packaging, try to get the seller to take them out of the packaging and send them together. You could fit 6 of them in a box the same size as the packaging.

I've seen one of these in a marketplace today. The price is almost 11 USD. I don't know, should I buy him??
