Got these from BBTS along with the new 6" Titaniums and a few comments (very few) and a few pictures...

    Comments:

    - These are officially my favorite Minicons of the Cybertron line. I liked the molds originally and these decos are a big improvement aesthetically. The extensive translucent plastic looks excellent and catches light very well; the clear plastic is obvious even from a distance.
    - Non-translucent pieces on Jolt - Rotor, tail and runners.
    - Non-translucent pieces on Reverb - Robot thighs and upper arms.
    - Non-translucent pieces on Six-Speed - Robot thighs and a hinge inside the chest.
    - No stability or paint problems apparent on mine.
    - No molding or articulation changes.
    - The card has a couple of errors: (i) Reverb and Jolt's names are switched and (ii) the tech spec numbers are on a purple (Decepticon, usually) background.

I'd definitely recommend these, even for those who have the originals.

Jolt and Reverb traded names? They must be trying to confuse the kids. :)

    They're superb !

Here's my review - posted elsewhere:

See http://uk.geocities.com/philip_ayres@btopenworld.com/GFMicron.html for original GF version reviews, and http://uk.geocities.com/philip_ayres@btopenworld.com/MicronBoosterV3.html and look for Micron Team for the Micron Booster version review.

The Shadow Recon team is a rare and possibly first application of Repaint Rule 8 outside of Japan - see http://uk.geocities.com/philip_ayres@btopenworld.com/Repaints.html - they're clear repaints ! The only other clear toys I can remember are the Minicon Sabre toys and some GoBot/Spychanger redecos. Obviously with clear toys there's very little actual paint involved, these are all cast in a different colour of plastic.

There's a mistake on the packaging - Jolt is labelled Reverb and vice versa. The Bio note is nice, insinuating that these 3 have adopted a post Cybertron series stealth guise to explore the universe. They come with the Giant Planet Map - Hallelujah, got it at last ! - and have Giant Planet Markings on the card.

Reverb - the pick up truck - is cast in a very pale blue plastic which is almost completely clear apart from his solid black upper arms and legs and clear smoked grey plastic wheels. Looks very ghost like !

Jolt looks more solid than the other 3 - a clear electric blue plastic chest/helicopter body, and the same smoked grey for the legs and the feet. The rotors, arms and upper legs are black, and the cockpit/dome is still clear. He looks rather nice.

But Six Speed is the real winner here - cast almost entirely in the clear electric blue he looks stunning in both modes. The smoked grey turns up on the wheels (again) and the chest, the clear pale blue on the car nose, and the black on the upper legs. Superb redeco !

Very highly recommended - more clear Minicon repaints please !

I'm really looking forward to them! If I only had the normal team.

I loved the original release of these molds, and have the translucent release sitting on my "to be opened" pile at home. They even look pretty tasty in the package. Plus, the real bonus, MORE MINICONS FOR. ME!

Picked these up tonight. Really cool. I think i'm gonna take them to work tomorrow to show. I think that Reverb and Jolt are so cute. I used to think Jolt was really annoying, now I think he's just got personality. His little figure catches that.

And I will say that I love that cool blue of Reverb. Kinda nice and stiff articulation. No need for ball joints on these guys. 3 tiny robots for $7. Worth opening.
