i just recently brought my first cybertron figure that being scrapmetal, and while transforming it, i noticed one of the hand "covers" was loose, also the cybertron planet key had an autobot logo but painted purple. is this just mine or are most of them like this?

 

There was another guy with a puple Autobot logo one like that. It's a variant apparantly.

Actually, if the purple Autobot key is a prevalent enough error, that might actually make it worth something, as opposed to a one-of error or something almost as unique.

 

On the subject of Scrapmetal. What is his alt mode suposed to be?

 

A spider-tank.

 

Spider Tank. It's a fairly well used sci-fi convention. Turret'toting manned (or unmanned) war machine that travels via multiple legs. Not speedy, but can navigate most any terrain.

 

Cool. It looked like a mutant helicopter or something to me at first. Still, it's a cool design, and I like it doesn't transform how you'd expect.
