If I were buying a loose Cybertron Primus what should i look for that often goes missing? i know the 'transformation key' but other than that, are there body parts that are known to fall off? or anything like that? any advise would be great!

The two black missles that go in his launcher. If you get real picky, check to see if any of his black spikes are snapped off. A friend of mine bought one on ebay with three of those spikes broken.

I know it sounds pretty obvious but, make sure it has both "toes" I got one off eBay that was missing one. I didn't see it because all of their pics had the legs backwards and the seller claimed they didn't know much about it, neither did I at the time. There’s no way to stand him without it.

thats good to know, i dont know much about him either, but i spotted him and a unicron at the flea market, the unicron seemed a little overpriced and i'm sure he's missing pieces, but the primus (from what i did know,) looked to be in good shape, i doubt he has his main key, but i will have to back on the weekend when they are open and try to wheel and deal

any other tips you guys have would be appreciated!

One versions of Primus came with a Unicron head ala the 3rd season of G1 but with out packaging or instructions there will be no way to know if that did.

Eventhough the main key is used to transform him, you can use a finger, a pencil, or something similar to transform the figure.

The problem with the toes (if I remember correctly since I reboxed mine about three years ago) is they just connect by a plain push peg. Nothing to hold them in place except friction.
