I bought Cybertron Prime today, and you know what, he is awesome. I don't like how his wings swing around a lot, but other than that, and his instability to not fall apart in vehicle mode, this is one kick ass figure. One of the best Prime figures I have ever seen at this point in time (probably be knocked down by the Classics line though), and I love his matrix.

Dude, congrats on your haul. If you think he's awesome, wait until you get Wing Saber to combine with him. Or if you have the extra cash, try getting the Japan Toy R Us "Sonic Convoy" gift set.

The Optimus has translucent parts and Wing Saber has additional chrome. Also included is an Autobot Rumble.

Took you that long to figure that out? ;)

Yeah, he's a swell toy. I actually prefer him without Wingsaber. It's a mould that can certainly stand on its own.

Whatever combination of parts you have him in, he's awesome (I've got mine holding an absolutely huge sword right now and he looks badass!)
Great design, plus he's got the underarm BFGs of doom!

By far the best Prime of the A/E/C trilogy. He's actually my favorite mainline Prime figure... I think ever.

QFT. Nobody like the Armada and Energon Primes. You had some people that said they did, but they are just non-conformists saying they did to be different. :lol

Yep. I was avoiding Cybertron like the plague as I did with Armada (except Unicron and Sideways) and Energon (except Arcee).

Cyb Prime is great and all, but RID Prime is still better. :)  (Let's see if we can start a Prime war with this one!)

I am a little ashamed of E-Prime but love him combined with Wing Saber.

I still Love Armada Prime with Jet Pants and Overload BFG.

Cybertron Prime is, hands down, my favorite Optimus mold. Yes, even better than 20th Prime. I currently have him displayed on top of my main bookcase in front of my stereo (the sort of "row of honor" that he shares with 20th Prime and Tits WW Prime). I try to cycle him through his various supermodes, so that each one gets some display time. Just this morning I took Wingsaber off his back and put him in regular super mode.

Just out of curiosity, how does Wingsaber clip onto Prime's back.
Is it just the chest piece holding it in place, is there a peg or clip of Wingsabers torso section?

It's been puzzling me for ages.

Also, while talking aboot Prime + Wingsaber, does anyone know what price the other Costco exclusive, (Prime + Overload), retailed at, as about a year after, I found the set, (Along with the sam's club exclusive 'Prowl vs Starscream' set) at a Milton Keynes 'The Entertainer' for somewhere inbetween £30-£60.

The main jist of this, I want to know whether it's worth waiting and risking, or trying to get someone with a costco membership to pick me one up and mail it to me.

Be puzzled no more! There is indeed a clip on Wingsaber, it slots firmly into the groove on Optimus' back (it's the same groove which the mechanism to raise the head uses). Very cool use of the space, incidentally. The chest more or less sits there, it does lock down, but not firmly enough to take the weight. Don't worry though, he's dead stable in combined mode.
