weather the wheel and feet I'd say, but not much on the robot itself, the coloring looks fine as is, don't want to hide it too much under oodles of oil stains and scraped metal.
Aces bro! he is awesome! I personally would weather him, but not with oil stains, but by dry-brushing silver here and there on edges of the bucket wheel, plow blades, and the treading. On Stripmine, I also dry-brushed the robot's joints that would rub due to him moving. This evoked his huge size more in my opinion.
If you're unsure of weathering it I'd do a test run on some junker you don't need or buy some thrift store bot or True Heroes vehicle for five bucks, just to get a feel for it/comfortable with it.
Small updates on the feet. Some color added on the bottom. Thanks Dont tempt me. Lol. Im going to test it out quick. Im quite proud so far. So ill do some work. And see what happends... Give me a few days....lol sorry. Finale to come[/QUOTE]
I hate to be "that guy," but I'm gonna say it: the asymmetry of the tracked base (the legs) in altmode bothers me. I've been chewing on this, trying to think of a non-asspain fix. Looking at the new base mode (which I LOVE) makes me think: what if you set up the altmode with the legs 180 degree from each other? Like, toes touching each other (or maybe heels)?
Hey That Guy. Lol. I tried out a different alt with the legs this way. Unfortunetly the balance is way off. Heres some pics of that mode and something im trying for spark drinker mode
Interesting! I see that the "fencing" you put on the legs gets in the way of this leg arrangement working parallel with the arms... that's a shame. Thanks for trying it out though! Good to see how it works/looks.
You know, I don't have Metroplex's weapon, but I do have a spare Scavenger that I gave up trying to articulate... I may swipe your idea for a Metrotitan.
Ah, I see. It works... but it really does look a bit too humanoid, doesn't it? Huh, I should have expected that. Still, it's fun that there's so many options.
Coming back to this from your link in the new Metroplex thread. This looks so amazing that I might actually try something similar whenever I get the new Legacy version
