It looks like we are forever doomed to a Megatron becomes Galvatron cycle, and with the Galvatron as a repaint of Megatron.

Shame on you for expecting something different.

It was a cool concept when it was first used in the movie, dude. C'mon weren't you awe-struck when the badly damaged Megatron was given new life by being reformatted into Galvatron? I know I was! :D

Unfortunately, this plot device has been re-used so many times until it has lost its novalty.

The one advantage I have of not having yet gotten any leader class cybertrons is that I can get this much better looking galvatron repaint over the megatron one. :D

I love that toy feature. Pity it requires batteries for activating the choking feature.

Yes, very cool, especially since it was reformatted into something entirely different. :D

LOL. It's 2 freaking AA batteries, it's not that expensive. And call me a terrorist if you want, but leaving it on outside of a school is a lot of fun.

Not to mention that it was a different figure. That goes a long way.

Yeah, Megs become Galvy has been used alot, but at least for Cybertron, Galvatron has a kick ass entry.
Speaking of which, I know it hasnt aired yet, but what Episode does Galvatron first appear in(Cyb + GF) , having only had access to the GF Version.

I have to agree with the general concesus of this thread. G1 Megs to Galvy at least had a completely new figure, not just a repaint. Plus his character changed so much, you'd never know he used to be Megs had it not been common knowledge.

The new conversions are lame because he's the same toy in a new color, with the same characterization on screen.......
