I don't know much about TF cybertron but I have a couple of figures and want to pich up a couple more. I read that Downshift id one of the newer toys coming out along with excellion. Is this an updated mold or the same one?

They're doing a repaint of Downshift? I'd get in on that, he's a great toy!

If you're referring to the green Downshift version, that version's been released recently. It sure does rock. Add him to your collection.

Downshift and Excellion are both out already. I doubt Downshift will get a repaint since he came out so late in the line.

Cybertron Downshift is a brand new mold.
    And should'nt be missed.

He also has the Wheeljackian vibe going on with the head.
His shoulder blasters can be doubled as rifles and his chest claw gimmick
can also stay shut in robot mode.

and with the head and torso mods, he's even better! if you're worried about having the skill/tools to do them, the torso articulation one is easier, and probably the more worthwhile one to do.
