I've said from the start that Transformers will be a fine movie if they follow DeSanto's model of X-Men.

Looked up Humvee pics and I think a humvee is a fine alt mode for Ironhide

And looks like Optimus retains his red and blue colors.Although to be honest I doubt this was a true fan concern as other then Primal,Prime has always been red and blue.

And good to hear Bay wanted to keep the red and blue.He's been villified WAY too much by certain "contingents" of the online fandomIMPO.Honestly speaking though seeing and all blue Optimus would be weird.Not because it's not G1.But because I'm SO used to the Red and Blue color scheme.

Armada Optimus was an updated semi...in the fantasy realm of dwarves. Seriously, if that squat POS was intended to accomodate drivers over three feet tall it would need to take up both lanes.

Anyway, on to this rumor. Sounds good, glad to hear Prime will be red and blue. Ironhide as a red hummer is nice, though I don't think too many were opposed to him being a black pick up.

And yes, I don't think some people are giving Bay a fair shake. I wouldn't recommend him for a Godfather remake, but he's a very good fit for something like the Transformers.

 

I don't know, it almost sounds too good to be true and too early for me to judge what's real. 

Though, Ironhide as a red Hummer sounds like a good idea for both the movie and as a future Alt/BT.

This guy is obviously hinting that Cullen will be doing Prime. I don't know who the other big autobot name could be, as Scatman Carruthers, who did jazz, is dead, I believe.

 

Just to clarify before everyone goes into a frenzy, Prime will most likely still be a flat-nosed semi just an updated one as opposed to a particular model from the '80s.

 

Yes both H1 and H2 Hummers exist in red. The article does not mention wether or not it is either an H1 or H2. I would think an H1 would be more appropriate for ol' Ironhide.

 

If real it sounds promising. Indeed, the more "accurate" the characters are, the less a lot of the fandom will have to complain about.

I think he meant cullen and welker, personally... even if he said autobots, that was probably a goof. who doesn't occasionally have something come out and ya meant somethin' else? I would love for this to be true.

As for the Red Hummer, there's one called "twilight Maroon Metallic", that's a bit dark but is sexy.....

 

Oh man, now that I see it, a red Hummer is purrrr-fect for Ironhide, though the pick-up truck idea works good as well.

I was thinking more along the lines that Prime should have a deep rich voice.Although James Earl Jone's voice might not sound the same nowadays

My original choice was Michael Clark Duncan.But since he's already casted for another role in the movie.I doubt that's possible.

Oh and Redline,I guess it is possible.And while I'll neither be upset nor ecstatic over Cullen playing Prime I hope 2 things

1)That hearing Cullen doesn't make me think "1984"
2)That the fandom members who wanted Cullen in the first place don't get smug with immature "Ha ha the fanboys won" type posts  

 

I sincerely hope they don't make Ironhide an H2. That thing is a joke on wheels. More appropiate to Wheelie.

 

Cullen doing both Prime and Ironhide would be nice, but somehow I doubt they'd do that.

I suppose it's too much to wish for thinking that Dan Gilvezan could return as Bumblebee...

It would be great if they would give some more Bumblebee info to falsify (or prove) the rumors that certain people keep whining about and quoting as fact.

 

Poor fella has to stand inside a sound booth for the whole duration of the movie without saying anything  

 

GM has discontinued production of the H1 Hummer. I think the Humvee (the military version) is still in production though.

Oh, and to respond to this RUMOR - it is our responsibility as posters here to not respond to RUMORS. There is no point in debating anything. Everyone please realise that this is only a rumor. Please save your opinions till official word gets released by Michael Bay or someone involved with the production team. That way, our opinions will be more informed than responding to a rumor which might not even be true...

 

I t'd be funny if they got only Cullen or Welker, and not both.

But I doubt they'll use either. ​
