It's all brush work done with Testors Flat black as a base, and then the colors dry-brushed on. No clear-coat, I'm just gonna sand the few small rub spots, repaint 'em, and superglue over it. There's only like 4 or 5 very small spots, unfortunately two are quite visible in the last pic :p

Now I just need to find a nice sword for him...

Got the idea from this thread:

Color scheme based (more or less) on this artwork:

I was thinking that Cyb. Unicron would make the perfect Bludgeon. I like your version. I have been trying to come up with my own modifications.

Wow. That's a repaint I'd be thrilled to see in stores.

Thanks everyone for your comments/compliments :)

You can see the orange plastic that makes up the inside of his chest, and the rub spots right below it reveal some yellow.

The rest is just an effect of the lighting/camera. For example, the fore-arms in the last pic and the gun (and some of the various green-colored armor) in the second pic look as though they are showing yellow, but it's just the very yellow light from the lamp that's right above it. Everything was meticulously covered in flat black before the top coat was dry-brushed on.

Setting up an actual light box is something I've been meaning to do, I'm just too lazy to get around to it :redface2:

Oh I see okay I'm just seeing it in a different way, I guess. Anyways I don't have anything to complain or comment about it.
