No, I pretend he's Skybite so I didn't have to buy the RID repaint.

I thought Beast Wars was just fine the way it was.

I would have LOVED to see BW2 and Neo make it's way over here in some fashion though.

Err... not particularly. It's not that I dislike the idea of wanting non-show characters in the show -though I feel this would have ultimately detracted from how good BWs was-, but I really never cared for the robotic family angle... it's interesting, but you really have to suspend disbelieve to say that one robot is another's brother or son. There's just a whole lot of explaining that needs to go on there for it to work... you just can't say something like that.

For example. RID Prime and Magnus are considered brothers because they were both built at the same time by the same robot and were even intended to combine. That's probably the closest thing to brotherhood a TF can have...

Children seems a little easier to explain in that a robot created another robot... so they'd have a father/son or whatever relationship. However, again, it's just really messy for a kids show. Stuff like that should probably be left to the comics.

Would've been cooler if they had more pods crash and live. The concept of the pods was amazing imo to begin with to introduce new characters. Too bad they were constrained by budget, etc. If they had more money to make episodes, they would've probably been able to add new characters.

Yeah, he was, but not in his Transmetal II form. I prefer his original body, myself. He looked like a Maximal counterpart to Inferno. They have have been packaged together in Japan, too, I'm not sure.

No, I don't wish he was in beast wars I was never a fan of the aquatic tfs. But on that note why would he have to be related to Depthcharge? Just because they've both got aquatic alt modes? Why couldn't he have been related to Primal or Rhinox?
