After needing to get the mojo back after some real life issues, I wanted to tackle a personal Shockwave project before tackling stuff for others in case I wasn't ready.
Well, here it is, so I feel pretty confident with it.
The upper legs to the hip, as well as the forearm covers and upper arm swivels were 'donated' by CW Cyclonus. The backpack was from Astrotrain's, and the new cannon was from a junker G1 Shockwave, and thigh filler is from a Mega Construx set. The back of the legs were fill covered with styrene, and I added putty to the inside of the feet for stability.
    Not much else to say.

Admittedly, the alt mode isn't all that pretty, but it's still functional. I really don't have a problem with it.

VERY cool...I'm working on a Voyager-scale Shockwave idea myself, and this is a lovely bit of inspiration for it.

Hope the IRL stuff is getting better.

Dude! This is awesome! I followed this journey from the beginning and I know the amount of passion you put into this custom. AWESOME!
All the articulations look very natural and the filler panels you developed look like factory made.

I'll be getting mine this week and I may steal some ideas from ya.

    Outstanding work!!!!

    Nice job.
Very cool mods for this figure.
Such a shame they didn't provide the kind of joint mobility we all want as stock but you've overcome that really well.

    Cyclonis donation.
The very top of Cyclonis' lower legs is inside the top of Shockwave's lower legs. This gives him knees, and is even double jointed. Cyclonis' legs end at the swivel, which was then grafted to the stock hips and filled with styrene, putty and block parts.
It was actually a LOT of work to make it fit.

Nice work! Sadly, all of the Walgreen's near me did a reset of the toy isles and no long carry any Cyber Battalion figures anymore. The entire toy sections are about half the size of what they were.

Nice work! As soon as I can score one, I'm hoping to do something similar. My ultimate goal is to give him a gun mode, but I can't make any solid plans until I get him in-hand.

I already figured out how to do it, but decided to just keep the stock alt mode. Gun mode would be pretty easy without the wings, but the back panel is pretty large and more or less necessary.

Well, I went for it. Killed the alt mode by removing enough of the backpack to matter, then built a new backpack and an integrated joint to make a handle.
Oh, also changed the cannon. The one I was using was good, but I like the smaller version.

I deleted them by accident. They weren't good quality shots anyway. The ones right before your post are better.
