My god, these are so badly written and voiced I think my brains are leaking out of my eyes.

This was the best they could do? Seriously?

They're not even trying. This stuff is as bad as Transformers: Armada, and that was such epically bad writing that it ranks up there with the worst animated series to ever grace human sentience, much less the TV screen.

Also good to know they're not even trying to keep a continuity. Makes me feel nostalgic for Transformers G1 season 2.

just saw these, very fun. i was also going to post about the music about episode 5, with mindwipe. it's very reminisce of the dark knight. every time something bad was going to happen and batman was getting somewhere that high pitched suspense sound comes up.

here's an itunes link The Dark Knight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) by Hans Zimmer & James Newton Howard - Download The Dark Knight (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) on iTunes

and a youtube one of what i mean YouTube - The Dark Knight Soundtrack - 01 Why So Serious?

#5 -actually rather enjoyable compared to the previous eps. Mindwipe's 'Vampire' voice was quite fitting and didn't sound so corny. And Ironhide's humour was nice to hear. But Prime's voice seems to over-emphasise certain words and sounds rather unnatural and forced.

#6 - Sideswipe looks a little too skeletal-like, but it was funny when Frenzy's head was being knocked around on the floor. I almost get the impression that Sideswipe was paralleling Hot Rod's character here.

You know they're just crappy little promo videos, right? They're not supposed to be anything less that slightly longer commercials.

Heh, I thought the exact same thing.

I'm not sure how to feel about Mindwipe's Transylvanian accent. He's not actually a Bat in this, so it seems somewhat silly.
Also, I'm sure the PC crowd would consider it highly offensive typecasting.

This isn't the new TV show. These are just short webisodes to promote the NEST toy line. So they can kind of be forgiven for being kinda cheesy.

No, but he is bat-looking and is still based off G1 Mindwipe.

Not unless you consider it an homage to the old Dracula films and whatnot, which it most certainly is.

Frenzy and Mindwipe were surprisingly well done in my opinion. If a little bit "kiddy" these videos are getting more enjoyable.

Yeah, that's how I took it. I was just being facetious.

Cool. I just wasn't sure, considering, well, you know how many people genuinely believe the Skids/Mudflap racism thing?

Again with the awesome slapstick! Frenzy getting "kicked" around and Prime falcon-punching Mindwipe mid-line was hilarious!

I'm also glad to see the CG animators were able to model Mindwipe correctly transformed! So many people can't TF his chest...

Barricade owns Sideswipe. Bumblebee owns Barricade. So Bumblebee owns Sideswipe. Of course, why not, Bumblebee is only second to Prime in the movie-verse.

I can't even get the site to show the videos - is there somewhere else that has them?

I quite enjoyed those, to be honest. Mindwipe's is awesomely creepy. There were actually a few funny lines int here as well, and Frenzy was hilarious. Only thing I rolled my eyes at was Optimus' voice. Seriously, WTF.

Mindwipe's voice is fantastic. Makes me like him that much more.

If the animation quality was better -even at just ROTF for PS3 level or something (I understand these are on an epically tiny budget, no doubt) - I would actually call these good. The writing and voice acting has steadily improved.

For those who've seen and heard Megatron in this, is he closer to imitating Weaving or Welker?

Megatron is the same voice as Bludgeon and Lockdown.

So.... Bludgeon is taken down by a couple of quick pummels, Soundwave by "too many sonic booms", and now Mindwipe is taken down by a freakin' truck horn.

I wonder if a stern glare will be enough to defeat the next Decepticon.

Man, now I want red LED's in my Mindwipe's head. Would of been cool if they worked Skystalker in there. He could of been a distraction for Mindwipe's escape.
