mindwipe's voice is all sorts of pure win. almost sounded transilvanian. AH AH AH! de children of de night! vhat music they make!

and i love this ironhide. hes funny.

it just angers me that BOTH sideswipe and barricade have the nerve to use frenzy as a freaking soccer ball!

 

That was a pretty convincing "No!" Optimus gave

Prime's voice is pain, it tries to emote at wrong places and just doesn't sound any good at all, i don't believe a word he says

Vampwipe ! I think it's the same voice actor as Metal Gear Solid's Vamp dude.

 

I just saw number 4 on YTV. Very cool. Sideswipe was kind of like G1 Sunstreaker, worrying about little scuffs and damages. Megatron's voice was kind of silly though, and sounded nothing like his actual movie self. Sideswipe didn't sound much like the movie, but then again, he only said a few lines in ROTF, so I couldn't match them up.

Edit: I just watched episode 5. Mindwipe was very cool! I liked his special mind control ability, and the accent really suited his bat-like/vampiric aesthetic. I just wish they could've gotten an equally cool Japanese voice for Bludgeon! XD

I also watched episode 6. Very nice. I've always liked Frenzy's antics "Swipe, swipe, swipe!". Nice to see the return of Barricade to the Movie continuity after his disappearance. He was in Veiled Threat, but I don't think many people read that. Sideswipe is a favourite movie character of mine, so it was cool to see him duke it out with Barricade!

 

This actually aren't too bad for something meant only to show off current toys. Kinda gets my hopes up for TF: Prime, since that it looks to be like it will be very inspired by the movieverse.

 

Out of #4,#5 and #6, I like #6 the most. Barricade and Frenzy FTW.

Also, Count Mindwipe was pretty good.

 

Damn, I gotta wait for #4...

#5 left me with mixed feelings. Mindwipe's "dracula" voice was great, Ironhide's last comment was genuinely funny, but Prime was nothing short of horrible. The halting words and repeated falling intonation in "Must...Block it....out!" reminded me of how shows like Animaniacs would parody Captain Kirk's voice (which shows like that did CONSTANTLY).

They need to fire that voice actor. I nominate myself as a replacement. At least I know how to deliver a line.

#6 was okay... but a bit lacking in action. The lack of (audible) sound effects next to the all-too-clear voices left me cold. Frenzy's voice was good, but I KNOW he could speak english too. There were a few moments where a well-placed grumble or faux-profanity would've sharpened his character. The "human" form looked like CG from 15+ years ago.

 

man,those episodes might be cheezy... but its the good kind of cheezy,also... mindwipe sure knows how to lay out a good first impression againt' his enemies,that's for sure,well until prime shown up out of freaking nowhere,off course.

 

Man, Sideswipe sucks. And he looks like a girl!  

 

Is #4 where you hear Megatron's voice?

 

Ha! Those were actually amusing. And not just in a "so-bad-it's-good" way. Megatron gets stabbed in the foot: "Ow!"

The Mindwipe one was hilarious. Between Mindwipe's accent, Ironhide's end dialogue and Prime's method of resisting Mindwipe's control I was genuinely laughing.


Megatron's voice wasn't half-bad, honestly.
