I'm going to be doing a full articulation on my Shockwave soon, but the first thing that I wanted to try was making his wings into a Sixshot-style gun handle. This was a small project, but I fully documented it, because I think it involved a few fun techniques.
A few notes about the build- I used a T-square to cut my pieces at right angles, and wood carving tool to gouge the details out of the wings. I added pins to the outer wings to make them sturdier and sanded the hinges so that they can bend past where they normally go, and so that they can meet.
Materials are styrene sheet, wood repair epoxy putty, hardware store hinges, one small screw, and a brass rod. I got the brass rod at an art store in a bag of metal bits. Glue is Zap-A-Gap.

Thanks! I haven't seen that. I considered Lego, but I didn't have the right parts handy.
    Go for it!

Damn dude you put knees on him, that's pretty rad man. And bicep swivels how do you do that? (I'm old school when it comes to Transformers I been in it since the beginning but customizing it's not something I ever studied. But when I started collecting Cyber Battalion figures I REALLY thought I'd pay someone or learn, one day. Not just Shockwave, but Optimus Prime, Starscream, Jetfire, making Grimlock & Megatrons knees better ect ect. If you can help lmk :)
