Added knees to Cyber Battalion Shockwave using Constructbot ball joint and socket parts. The mod was pretty straight forward, I'll try to do a quick tutorial if folks are interested. Basically lots of dremeling, test fitting, and gluing. He stands at the same height as MP-10V now and maintains his alt mode.

Very nice, I might try the same if there's no good mainline Shockwave in the next trilogy.

Although I don't know if I'd take this route, this is a nice job indeed.
What about the biceps swivel rotation? Is this possible too?

Do you have a Classics or Henkei Megatron to compare him to?

Bicep swivel is definitely possible using the same joint setup.

Now if only we could get some fillers for those hollow facades he's got in place of legs.

Nice! It doesn't look like it effected the transformation at all?

Yup, I'll post pics of that tonight since I had my henkei megs out last night for a comparison. He's about the same height as henkei megs without the knees, but definitely taller now. I was going to add some height to henkei megs later tonight to try getting them to stand even.

Nope, still does alt mode fine, just with the front end of the ship being a little further out.

It looks like the legs turn inward and then join to transform? If so, then at least it won't be a pain to fill in the back legs as putting a panel covering there on each just before the edge will do. When I first saw it from the main page I thought maybe the legs folded up or soomething and that's why they're hollow.

Great job on the knees. Now he looks right. Are you going to paint him too?

He may have meant voyager scale as I think that Shockwave is deluxe. I wish it was a voyager tho'.
