OK so I managed to get a ko of this figure from Smartlulup for $13 shipped. Figure is really nice but I hated the lower arms were waaay too long to me and only had an elbow bend. By adding a junker FOC Grimlock'so lower arms it added a swivel at the elbow and wrist articulation while giving him shorter arms with better proportions. In addition I added new dino arms from a junker animated Starscream figure. The original arms were way too stubby, now he has articulation. Will eventually fix the dino hands to be more dino like. Shaved down the rear of the bot head for better neck rotation as well. I may just decide to give him a Titan Master gimmick too which could really help with the head plus Scourges gun works perfectly for Grim. Still have some painting to do, and was thinking of doing G2 Grimlock colors to go with my "Corrupted" line I started with my Leader One custom. Basically where the repaints are evil clones of the originals. So tell me what you think so far...

 

There's definitely potential in this. I'm willing to see where this custom leads. (BTW, a more G1 head would do wonders.)

 

Agreed, however due to the space allowed for it is very limited in what will fit in there. I may come up with something that will fit though

 

Honestly there is a good chance this won't remain as grimlock. Was even considering an Energon Cruelock color scheme or even an original character
