The unofficial pacific northwest Transformers fan and collector convention, The Cybertronian Conference (CybCon), has been announced for 2012.

It will take place at the King Oscar Hotel and Convention Center (same as the last 6 years), on August 18th, 2012.

Online registration is REQUIRED. Pre-payment is optional. Early-bird pricing ends on March 31st.

For registration, payment, and other information, please visit the CybCon info page here: GG's TF Page - The Cybertronian Conference 2012!

I will also be asking for volunteers for the following: trivia contest, video game contest, toy transforming contest, photography/videography, art table/contest, video projector, and all around helpful person. Volunteers should expect to help others enjoy the convention, if you know what I mean. Contact me directly if you are sure you can come and wish to help.

Gotta say, I have been to three of them, and it is better each year. Met a lot of great locals between the first and third one I attended (a bit biased, but we have the greatest group of collectors around up here in the NW). Even if you are a silent board member, or are on the fence, I highly recomend attending. Everyone is friendly, some great people, well organized, and a good chance to geek out for a whole day.

$5 for contests, prizes, dealer tables, local boardies, pizza, and pop, how can you beat that? And a fantastic organizer/host in Greg.

Thanks very much to the mods/admins for the front page love. It definitely helped those who don't see the other announcements.

Greg knows all too well that I've been wanting to attend just about as long as I've been an adult TF fan. Expendable cash and time off have never worked out for me, though. The best I've been able to do is help out with some of the exclusives' artwork over the years:

    CybCon 2005 Jazz - Other Convention Exclusives - TFW2005.COM

CybCon Art pictures by superquad7 - Photobucket

I've been very honored and blessed to be able to say that I've been able to contribute on some level as well as to call Greg "friend" :)  Hopefully, things will work out someday. Oddly enough, I've always wanted to travel to WA state.

Lots of people came in under the wire.
Regular price from now until a week before the con.
just remember, you must register in advance, even if you don't/can't pay in advance.
Also, door price per Attendee is $15, so if you're sure you can come, put that $5 extra toward new toys at the show and pay the $10 regular pre-pay price. :)
