CybCon, short for The Cybertronian Conference, has been an active yearly fan gathering since 2000. CybCon takes place in Western Washington, usually in the Tacoma area.

Ok, slacker that I am, I procrastinated on setting up CybCon 2011. As such, my date choices are limited. My current option is September 3rd, the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. I know a lot of people vacation on that weekend, so I need to know if it's a bad idea for CybCon, or if it's ok. Please vote in the poll, but only if you're in the area. I don't need people who never/can't come messing up the poll results, thanks.

Note that you have only 2 days to vote, and get others to come see this and vote. Again, only if you are likely to be able to come at all.

I definitely think that having cybcon later is a good thing, seeing how a lot of people are going to botcon. I spent over a grand last year, giving people time to save up for it is a good idea. Lots to be bought there and the silent auction last year was cool. I have a few ideas for that if you interested. Just PM me if you'd like.

Didn't vote, cause I have no idea what I am doing this weekend let alone months from now. Labor day should be good for me, and may have some plusses for out of town attendees. Portlanders and Canucks may be able to make more of a trip out of the weekend (not sure what the weekend is in canada, but I am guessing they are on holiday too).

Sorry, I forget that there are still people who haven't heard of the longest running fan convention besides BotCon. I guess I just don't advertise enough.

This is in the western Washington (state) area. Tacoma, specifically.

Had a great time last year and will definitely be making the drive from Portland again. Labor Day weekend should be OK.

I just voted in favor of Labor Day Weekend, if that's all that's available.

I'm looking forward to this! Like others have said, if you need help, just ask.

I was worried that it would be during pax but that's the weekend before. Sept 3rd sounds fine. Too bad we couldn't get it on the weekend of the movie launch, that was great.
