I was looking through some cybertron Transformers and saw Swindle. I don't particularly like the toy, but thought he might make a cool Beachcomber.

Anyone ever seen this done before? or thoughts on if it even should be done?

Think there might be a digital bash out there somewhere, but I don't know where. I agree that mold deserves a Beachcomber repaint, be it from a fan, or from Hasbro themselves.

EDIT after looking up: ... and there you go. :)

Is that a bash or actual toy? It looks great. If its a bash, where did you get the head.

The Alt Beachcomber looks awesome too.

It's a bash. It's not mine however, so I wouldn't know where the guy got the head.

I was really bummed they didn't go that rout or the redeco, it was pretty spot on, and with E-Beachcomber, there was certainly a precedence for the character to be in Cybertron... (bet we see a con exclusive next year)

That's a nice Beachcomber bash. Glad they changed the head - the original mold looks like Bumblejumper. Anyone seen him painted as G1 Ruckus?

This is on my "short list" for when I get my workshop cleaned up. Along with a little something for him to mope on involving the Golden Lagoon.

I like that bash linked to above. Awesome looking.

I think the white Beachcomber Alternator is pretty impressive.

Wonder if that Cyb Beachcomber has a sculpy head?
That may be a good beginners edition head for some someone's who's never sculpted one. (like me)

Love the idea and seems like it already translated very well.
Finally have a good reason to pick up one of the many Swindles floating around, plus it's a killer fig to boot.

I'm really into that white alt color scheme. I think that the cybertron repaint deserves another release in those colors you gave it as well.

I picked up a Swindle today for the Beachcomber repaint. I also picked up a Lugnutz for another project I'm working.

A friend of mine told me cool toy lugnutz was, it took me a while, but I have to agree. Plus, almost to scale witht he alternators.

I like the idea of making one of the Alt Jeeps into Beachcomber. I think the Swindle/Rollbar head works as it already has a visor.

What are you doing with Lugnutz? I picked one up because it was close to Alt scale. He could make a good Wheelie without too much work.

I've seen wheelie done already, it looked good.

I'm still working on beach comber, once I get that done I'll start on Lugnutz, and its a surprise what I'm going to do with him.
