Hey everyone!

I had a spare CW Brawl, so I decided to give him a makeover. First step: make him GREEN like his G1 toy. The paint is quite rough in places (you can see the original drab peeking through), but this adds to his rough, military look. A much darker shade of green was used for highlights.

Next: a new noggin! I've been meaning to make an 'empurata' or drone-style head for a while now, and the replacement head I started with (25 points to the first person who can guess who it was) was perfectly suited for the task. The eye was made by layering a 'clear, dimensional medium' (that's what it says on the bottle) over a silver base until it became dome-like and then a layer of clear orange to finish. I've taken to calling him Ironsight for now.

The final touch was giving him RID Bludgeon's gun (given a matching grey paint job), which fits perfectly with his alt mode.

My guess on the head, an RID1X figure? A lot of them had necks like that. Looks like Fracture or maybe Bumble?

Ironsight is a cool name as well as this custom. Heck, use him as an extra for your Combaticons.

 

Nicely done! The new head gives him a very brutish demeanor.

 

I have UW Bruticus, but could potentially pair him with the extra CW Onslaught and (Jet) Blast-Off I have? Still need two more limbs to join them though.

For a guy with only one eye to emote with, he's pretty angry looking! Also, I think it works better proportionally than his official head?
