    update on post 40 1/19/11

    UPDATE finally 12/17

after lots of time away i got a few things done on this guy (things that have been tawnting me) and with the help of BIGbot30 i got some great ideas to steer me in the right direction

visually in robot mode i feel this one maybe teh best of the ones i have done thus far (its close between him and scavenger) but the alt mode does look kinda like dump truck parts on a folded up robot so that is somethig i am curently working on but wihtout further rambling here are the pics with all of teh g1 goodness i could cram into it.

im getting a little nervous about hook, but that one is quite a ways off. i want to debut the lower half of devastator before i do anything with hook, which is rapidly approaching a few things here and there and i will be able to connect the legs now saddly there will be some parts forming for devastator but to have 6 deluxe size fairly g1 accurate constructicons i dont think im going to car anymore, but that has been an issue i dont like parts forming

Hmmm, I know your having a hard time moutning wheels, but LH looks a little short. Like a lowriding dump truck. Maybe extend those a bit, or lower the mounting point?
As for the back wheels, how about removing those existing wheels, and making a lever that screws into that existing point, and then the new wheels mount to the other end of the lever. So when you transform him, the wheels swing down close to the leg? Kind of like how ROTF longhaul moves his wheels around on his legs, but a swinging (rotating) lever, instead of something that uses several parts and folds.

    Randy!
