    Hey all!

Been gone for a bit - glad to be back! Been sick, then just busy, and have been spending more time with my other hobby, photography. Finally got around to finishing a new custom - this time, my favorite one of the movie line - Wreckage! I just love his robot form, with the arm-mounted swords, etc....

Did the usual treatment... filled in the gaps, sanded down all the mold lines, etc. - then I airbrushed a more realistic grey camo pattern on him, and then went in with drybrush highlights and weathering powders to finish him up!

    What do you think?

I have more high-res photos on my Flickr account here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pairadocs/sets/72157594541503260/

P.S. - Check the eBay forum here for link to auction.

    Sweet.

Wreckage really looks bad in his factory deco, but the mold just comes alive when given a "real-life" deco. Great work.

You did some nice work, man! This guy is one of my favorite molds from the movie line. I picked up an extra myself for a custom down the road (/bad pun) . . . then again I have a spare set of Classics Seekers as well :lol

Your work (along with many others on this baord) continue to inspire; keep up the great work :thumb

Very nice. I love the look of flat paints on transformers. Somehow makes them look "bigger." Less like toys.

The paint job is absolutely top-notch, but the background, composition of the photos and all around presentation push the whole thing into the stratosphere. Fantastic work.

I really have to find time to customize my own Wreckage. Its sad how bad the factory deco is.

Wow. That is really, really, nice.

And your presentation highlights how well that mold can pose.

I never did like his mold, but the custom job is absolutely stunning. Just goes to show how much better a mold can look with a little more attention to the paint job.

Wow... thanks for the ultra-kind words everyone!

I'm glad you all enjoy the pictures as much as the figure... I take a lot of pride in that part of the custom - the presentation.

One of my other hobbies is photography, and I've been playing around and trying to get better. I hope to improve on my photography as I try to constantly improve on my painting and customizing... I take a lot of pride into my artwork, and I try to never be complacent with what I do. There's always room for improvement! That, and there's always new techniques to try...

I have some very different stuff in the works, some TF related, some non-TF... keep checking my Flickr account to see!
