After owning Universe Hound since his release, I eventually found I just wasn't pleased with the light green color of his plastic, and decided to paint him up to more closely match the shade of the original G1 toy.

Thanks folks, I appreciate the comments. Its the first really involved custom I've finished in a while. Most of my recent customs (Classics Optimus Prime, Red Alert, Sunstreaker, Jazz) have been simple touch-ups and reprolabel applications. Even my 'Nemesis Prime' was relatively simple. This one took quite a bit more work. I'm pleased with how this turned out.

And you are indeed right relutter, its the gun from the Ultimate Battle Pack Classics Prime

It's only the Prime's weapon? or you used some other accessory to make your weapon?

 

Just Prime's weapon, re-painted, with a spot drilled and filed out so I can slide Hound's "launcher" in there.

Perfect! Incorporating that Prime Rifle has pretty much become the standard for everyone, and Hound wouldn't be complete without it.

 

Thank you, and yes, it has because it fits so very well. I even have the G3 Trailer with the little hound gun that came with that, and I still prefer Prime's Rifle.
