So here is one of my favorite non-transformer robot baddy. ULTRON! He has always been a bad a$$. Using the Heroes Reborn Iron Man body(removing the back smoke stack things as well as the chest piece) and a Head modified and casted from a toybiz Iron Man base. Painted him with Duplicolor Black car primer then airbrushed future floor polish on him then Alclad chrome over that then Future again. The finish is still not as chromey as I would like it to be but it does look better in person as the pictures make it just look like a shiny smooth silver. Thanks for looking!

Very cool, but the chrome isn't chrome, it's more of a silver. You should try the alclad base black, made specifically for alclad. Nice work tony

Hey tony, nice mods! Also, I think it could be becoz the surface where u painted the Alclad wasn't mirror smooth. I had the same issues with my Movie Prime's surface and chrome as well. Some surfaces that weren't smooth turned out silver.

    I like it alot.
It's got a brushed aluminum look to it (at least from the pics)
that really works well with the bright green

Thanks Bro. Yeah and this was the second attempt after getting a flatish silver look and stripping it. Sigh..... I will be picking that Alclad gloss black up next time i hit the hobby shop.
What can I say about you bro? Your Awesome! Thanks a bunch!
Thanks very much sir, I always liked him to and wished he had more time in G1 but alas.....
Thanks Sabrina! I will admit that while it was glossed it was not completely smooth, I was a bit to afraid to lay it on real thick like it needed to be and risk rubbing everywhere. I will get it one day, Silver surfer will be perfect!
Thanks bro, I think it fits him pretty well too.

EDIT* MULTIQUOTE FTW@TFW!!! LOL never knew how much I missed it untill I got to use it once again. LOL

Dude that's so much nicer than my ML Ultron, who looks cool but is a mangled un-poseable mess. Kudos especially on the casted head.

Thanks Bro! How did the test go for you. I used Future over this guy before I took the pics and I didn't really see a noticeable difference, I just airbrushed it on a the best atomization I could create and did it in 3 super light coats then a heavy one for extra shine.

Thanks, are you talking about the Legendary Riders figure with the Glider? I have that one and boy oh boy was I disappointed. So glad I casted the head now I can make Ultron MK II. :D
