After seeing all the cool Trailbreaker Alts posted here, I had to make my own. Trailbreaker is also one of the best early G1 characters because he always saves everyone's ass with his badass forcefield. Trailbreaker is a kind of silent hero going by unnoticed until there is no other option besides breakin out the forcefield. Started with a Nemesis Prime and Swindle head. I wanted to represent all of his weapons so I picked up some G1 Trailbreaker missles and G1 forcefield projector/scanner. And a Binaltech Arming for the shoulder cannon. I did a different leg mog to this Prime mold to distinguish it from my two custom Primes. It does not extend the legs, instead it makes the leg cover shorter to make the lower leg appear shorter overall. There is a section cut out of the leg cover and the leg housing (not notcieable in alt mode). So he stands quite a bit shorter than my custom Primes. I also transform the chest different again to make the torso look shorter. Fitted Swindle's head with original peg so the rotation is perfect. The peg is pinned through the base and capped on the other side. I did the seat mod, taking them off the arms and attaching them all together on the back. Made custom mount for the G1 scanner, and holes for the 2 shoulder weapons. I made a custom missle out of the G1 missle, its pinned to the shaft so you can still shoot it without breaking. And finally made a gun hand from a G1 missle, it has a pinned ball joint to rotate normally and you can swap it out anytime for the original hand. I made a hole on the top of the left leg that the gun hand fits into when transforming. And the 2 shoulder weapons mount into the bed when in truck mode. Decided to paint the red on the legs, I tried to represent G1 TB's leg pattern with the knees red and then a red stripe below that. Painted silver on the vents, feet, and thighs. And finally added some reprolables where I wanted them. He's probably my favorite Alt now. Let me know what you think! Reference
Before the paint apps, Trailbreaker's alter ego, Nemesisbreaker, ha. I thought he looked pretty cool with no paint and decals, the visor is even purple.
Dude, that Trailbreaker kicks all kinds of ass! Awsome work! But just out of curiosity, how many Nemesis Primes did you buy to make all those?!
UGH! Every time I see a new Alt Trailbreaker, I want a Nemesis Prime all over again to make one of my own. Even though I'm working on an Ironhide Alt out of Op Prime, it's just not the same. TB just fits into that mold so well... Awesome stuff. Definitely one of the best I've seen so far. You put quite a bit of work into this one.
Thanks for the comments dudes, this custom was a really fun one to see come together. CdnShockwave, I only have bough 2 Nemesis, one as Nemesis and one as Trailbreaker. The "Nemesisbreaker" is just me messing around, that's just TB before paint apps. Scourge_151, both my Nemesis and Prime have their legs extended with a mod, where as TB's are not and have a different leg mod.

Gimme a break; if Hasbro released this, it wouldnt have the missile hand, the engine behind the head, or even the dash decals on the vehicle. This is BETTER than official!
