Has anyone made their own original tf mascot? Aside from the TFW one that is. I've been contemplating buying various low end KOs and transforming robots to create something for myself. A character I can imaginatively inject into the TF universe. So I'm curious as to if anyone has done this (and pics) or has wanted to do this.

Make for a cool contest too...just saying :D

mine would be easy :)  split down the middle - like two-face.
Great idea, I often think of what customs of usernames would look like.

I've been considering doing mine from a G2 Hero Megatron, in loosely G1 colors... Based on the little fanfic I wrote for my character (& team) from the Heavy Metal War game over at that other certain TF fansite...

Had this planned for a looooong time. Here's a poorly photoshopped box with original art.

I've got a comic adaptation but it's all MS painted and shitty.
I'm actually in search mode right now for a 1/24 1998 Silverado with little luck.

I made my namesake (a character I created a very long time back, during Beast Machines) out of a junker Hot Rod a few years back, turned out bad to okay considering it was my first attempt at a kitbash. I gave him shoulder rotation and a pair of gundam hands, then removed the spoiler, added a few other details then gave him a new paint job. Didn't do the best job on the shoulders. Also screwed up some of the paint apps and never got around to fixing them. Oh I did discover that you can fit Alternator Rodimus' engine/weapons between G1 Hot Rods shoulders/tires in vehicle mode to fill in the gap between said tires and cover his head and face. Pretty much locks in perfectly.

I tried a similar 99 and learned diecast is tough to work with around 5 years ago. It is close but I'm trying to match it up to my own personal vehicle.

I did find this AMT/ERTL Complete Open Kit Silverado C-1500 3N1 1/25 Scale Sealed Parts | eBay but it would need to be an extended cab as well. I may be a able to scratchbuild the extended cab that create the shoulders as well as make it a short box. All this on top of the extensive mods the actual truck has done.

Could you mod a Suburban? Same frame and body style with the back end added right?

I've thought about it. Maybe just repaint a Seeker or something. A purple Seeker variant.

I havent made him in any capacity, but Torque is my guy. In each universe, though, he's a slight retool of a fancy car that ISNT Bumblebee-Actually, he's usually a blue version of Jazz. Animated, Movieverse, G1. Only time he isnt is in Prime as we havent seen that-I figure blue Cliffjumper for now, though that may change as we see more cars. Though actually, a blue Knockout would work pretty well too-maybe even better.

But the one thing he always has is an orange visor instead of a blue one, and there are eyes behind it. Add a white stripe down one side a la animated BB's black stripe and there's my Torque.

yes, i know there was a blue minicon truck named Torque in Japan and he was blue with an orange visor. I swear, it is TOTAL coincidence.

I would like to make a dark SG version of Balls from the Incredible Change-Bots comic books (a Transformers satire/homage). Balls was the Bumblebee-like character who turns into a golf cart. They were supposed to make toys of him and the microwave-bot (Soundwave) and his minions but I never found them anywhere. I think they were on BBTS as pre-orders for close to two years, then apparently sold out after I gave up looking. If anyone knows where they can be bought, I'd appreciate it.

Good topic idea to the OP.
