as so many before me have done i want to have a go at a shockwave from the energon shockblast figure. ive got my custom arms all mounted and sorted but what options have previous people used before?

saw a couple with usb cables and the like but wanted some other different ideas so what can everyone think of?

Try getting some small diameter fuel-line hoses from RC gas-powered airplanes. You can find those at some hobby shops.
I tried using one once to replace the cracked hose on my G1 Shockwave. Only reason it didn't work was the end pieces.

That's not a bad idea, any idea what sorta diameter the hoses come in? Or does it vary? Got no idea about RC planes and the like you see!

I have the same problem. I cut a wire from an ethernet cable and wrapped it in black electrical tape. It doesn't look that bad, but after that, I figured I should just find a black ethernet cable. That's the last thing for the custom i'm doing however

I'd go with the fuel line hose idea or a cheap black USB cable.
