I am a huge fan of G1, and i am also an collector, i collect g1 figures only, and most of the times boxed g1 (well 90%).
Boxed figures don't come often at low prices ( i am from portugal, normaly shipping costs more than the boxes itself) so i started an project for all my figures without box, just want you guys to give your opinion.

(so i decided to completly update this post! i have a lot of designs now, please let me know what you guys think)

Thats not bad. Your missing the yellow and red cirlce behind the figured. Maybe on the top you can have more images of the toy transforming. If using photoshop make sure your always working with layers. Did a couple of them figured it out the hard way. If you have the insert or styrofoam that came measure of a that and should be good. Try to pair up the same size figures that cna be place in the same box design. Goes alot quicker. Since your in portugal it might be cheaper to get printed at a print shop.

I can get you some help on high res scans for photoshop. TF title robot points etc.
I've also made a Reflector box last year. You can get the image if you like and print it out in a local print shop. Just PM me.

Looks good, though I'm always flabergasted that no one used Illustrator for package design. Hmmm??? Oh well...Looks great though! :thumb

    Looks good!!

Let me know if you find somewhere to get them printed on cardstock,
Ive looked everywhere cuz i have alot to get printed.

Only thing bad about printing them on regular paper and glueing them on cardstock, is after a while they detach from the cardboard.. :(

When you have production samples of your work to show us, feel free to make another thread showing those off in Customs.

As of right now, you've got a 2-D art thread, so here we are in Fan Art.

Your work really looks nice; thanks for sharing :thumb

Based on what I'm seeing so far, I'd definitely buy a repro box off of you! Any Chance of you doing a Wheeljack or Sunstreaker box? Yes, those are VERY predictable choices I know, but getting a decent looking vintage box is pretty much impossible and I don't support KO's so that's not an option.

I'm not interested in fascimile boxes; I just want it to look cool and add to the figure so if you want to give your own little creative spin to them then that's fine with me :)

    hi! guys i'm not dead!
so... this thread was is a bit outdated, now i have a lot of custom boxes, and i'm taking orders/commissionings...

    so ready to print boxes:
    Piranacon/seacon Giftset
    Abominus/terrorcons Giftset
    Reflector
Nemesis prime (for that ko black prime)

    on the pipeline:
    raiden/trainbots Giftset

as any other box you guys might want, i can do them all in acceptable time/price depending on the finishing wanted

in the attachments, there are piranacon/reflector boxes with 2 different finishings. (reflector box design is out of date, now is a lot better)
