Anyone know of the best way to add pin-stripes to Optimus' flames?

Frenzy_Rumble makes a set of stencils for this. Pricey and you still have to do your part, but he achieved stellar results. I believe Encline purchase a set and his Prime turned out great as well.

There is a nice lengthy debate on the pinstripes in a thread, I'll add the link after I find it. There was lots of great ideas and info there.

Conversley, I think the "Buster" Prime coming soon will have the pinstripes on him already.

*EDIT* I believe this is the link for the pinstripe thread.

it's been mentioned in the "Cool Stuff" thread in TFTD forum thta all you need to do is get a fine tipped silver paint marker, mask off the flames with masking or painter's tape, and have at it tracing the edges.

A reallt hin brush, a steady hand, and paint thinned at just the right consistency.

I did buy a bunch of the stencils from F-R, but those were for the flames, not the stripes.
