Hey everyone. I do custom painting and airbrush work for a living, and decided to trick out my Optimus voice helmet. It is all automotive paint and preped with the same agents I use in prepping plastic parts on cars and bikes. I thought mine was so cool, I thought I might see if anyone else would be interested in having one. I did mine battle raveged. But I could paint your how you would want. I normally charge about $400 dollars to paint a full face motor cycle helmet. But, I want to make this affordable for everyone and be able to get them aout for the movie, or, it just makes a cool loking piece of art to add to your colection. Mine is getting worn!!! Reading my post, I realized that the $400 is probably throwing everyone off. That is a price for a motor cycle helmet. Since I am a fan, and would be able to do something cool for other fans, I would only charge $150 plus shipping to paint one sent to me, or $180 to purchase the helmet and paint it up. I will also disassemble and reassemble it when painting as well. I am going to have to go buy one from tru to get Cullen's voice. Thanks for the compliments.
O.K. So no takers to there helmets painted for the movie? The 26th would be last day if anyone wanted before the movie......
Man if I wasn't on a buying freeze for Botcon I would have you do a Cullen one with more of the silver blue for a more G1 look
nice work on the helmet, i have access to a nice painting room with spray gun connections and free acetone. i have a sata myself and used it on a parking meter concept and on body work back in the day. the price you're charging is incredibly cheap for the labor, somebody buy! since you work at a body shop i'm wondering if you guys have a vac-metalizing machine in-house? i think you can make a lot of money for people who want to "chrome" their tfs.
Actually, I don't have a vac-matalizing machine. I havent had any reason to get one....till know!! The price is for tf fans like my-self. I make a pretty good living airbrushing, and my terrific wife works as well. So, that frees me up to do things I want to, such as charity events, or doing stuff for friends. I like transformers, so, paintigt some helmets for others with th same hobby ... fun for me.

Do you paint cellphones? I would love it if you could do something with my Sync... how much would it cost? I would obviously need to send it to you then have you send it back... how long would it take?
Encline - Would you be willing to have your offer stand through next month? If so I would definitely have you do one for me once I have the money saved up.
