This is one of my latest customs. I repainted his car mode as well, adding the missing Audi logo, black hood and racing stripes!

Both modes have some weathering, for a realistic look and both gloss and opaque lacquers all over him. There are plenty of gold and chrome details in robot mode, for all those tiny little details (this mold has plenty of them!)

    Hope you like him! =)

Hey just a gentle tip, when you are drybrushing try to leave less paint on the brush, I think some of the parts like the tires would have come out more effectively with a lighter dirt dusting..just enough to raise the details. The red highlights are kind of cool but look slightly out of place, good job overall you haven't left any blank spots on the figure, his head looks particularly cool. You might try added more black to the figure. Hope I'm not being too harsh

    Thanks for your comments, UltraMagnus2008!
I'll take your advice for my next projects!
    I love constructive feedback =)

The red highlights look really out of place in car mode, I know, I know.. lol but I tried to make him more robot-mode-accurate, and the render I used for reference had those red lights all over his chest!

Very cool. A little heavy on the wear and tear though. I would've settles to pristine car mode and a beat up robot mode.

    Looks promising!

Nice job, I like how the hood & roof split up from the rest.
Was wondering if I should paint mine, thanks for proving it's a good idea.

    Thanks for your comments! :D

For the Audi logo I used the back of the ink deposit of a Bic pen, I applied some red paint to it and then stamped it on the hood. For the stripes I used a bendy ruler and a sharpie =)
