Here's my versions of Sideswipe and Sunstreaker, who I thought should've been the twins featured in the movie. Sideswipe was a complete repaint, using Tamiya acrylics. Sunstreaker was a repaint of the Swerve figure, with a custom spoiler I made from parts lying around. Both were coated using Duplicolor clear lacquer, which I've recently found to be both durable and very glossy. Depending on how its sprayed, you can get a satin finish or smooth as glass.
