for those who have made one of these, can you explain to me how you attached the figures to the lower leg of unicron? I have the leg cut off just below the knee so it fits onto sideswipe nicely.. but how do you connect it? do you remove sideswipes head and place a heavy magnet in there? I was thinking of doing that and just putting a small magnet on his head to attach it.

also do you remove the arms on sideswipe to put him in combiner mode? sorry for the stupid ?'s I am close to completing him and don't want to mess it up. this guy is going into my personal collection.

Thanks alot for any and all help. you have all been an inspiration to customizing for me :)

You could try some lego cross pins as connectors... I know its used in a lot of connections for gestualt customs.

the legos are quite strong, and with a little moding could fit into swipes neck joint,no need for all the worck of installing magnets when a 5 buck set, and 3 minutes with a dremle can do the same thing better!

i meant the circular ones so they could attach and let it rotate. there is a better option to get one that has a ball joint on one end that fits, but you would need to buy the nxt, wich is mega expensive!
