Stage 2 Custom Masterpiece Ultra Magnus Head

    Update on page 2

Hi I have Updated the photos on the next steps of this project and I am after some feedback on my WIP.
I obviously need to sand it down but will be doing this once I am happy I have all the detail that I intend on putting into it.
let me know what you think.

    Many thanks

Here is the next steps towards finishing this project.
I have striped this back and started almost from scratch.
I have added an inter changeable face.
I have left the 1st 2 photos so new people can see where this started.
Still have loads to do but wanted to show where I am with this.
    Thanks for looking

I know you mean well, but the head looks too organic. I would suggest cutting into it to create some hard, polygonal shapes as well as using a scribe to create panel lines, screw holes, etc. Make it more 'machine' than 'man', as it were.

That's cool that you are able to make these molds. They still loook a little rough from what I saw. What do you plan to charge for these pieces?

I think it looks good. I was just curious as to what you were charging for your casts. I might want a Devastator head one day.

While I agree with Altitron that it looks a little too organic, I like the rounded helmet. Maybe changing the face would be enough?

I agree with the too organic look. It also looks very rough is some areas. Try sanding with several grits of sand paper before casting to ensure smooth casts. Good luck!

I think it looks much better. What was the base head you used for this? I think this is shaping up very nicely.

I started with the masterpiece Prime head and then I added the SS Starscream face and a lot of putty.
