    Nice work!

The concepts are not new, but the execution is verrry nice. Nice custom head on Dragstrip!

    Great job.

Alt Ironhide is amazing - and makes me sad, Hasbro should have made that, yours is damn near perfect!

Dragstrip is amazing, the paint looks factory.

    Bludgeon is awesome as well.

I'm bidding on your Dragstrip.... :D

Are you doing any more Stunticons? Or customs for sale in general?

Those all look fantastic. As was said above, the concepts aren't new, but your execution is some of the best I've seen. They look darn near flawless. I'll echo the wish that Hasbro had actually produced an Ironhide like that.

Dragstrip's head looks great, too. And man, that Unicron mold looks SO much more like Bludgeon than it does like Unicron. I love the way it looks with the details of the skull blackened in like that.

Are my eyes deceiving me, or does Ironhide have different wheels in truck mode than he does in robot mode? How did you end up attaching the larger wheels to his truck mode? I'm about to do something similar for a Trailbreaker custom, and I'm curious how you approached it.

    Great stuff, very inspiring!

Awesome job on all of them Warmachine.

Your Alt Ironhide, IMO, is by far the best one I've ever seen. :thumb

To remove the original wheels I tied shoestrings through the holes and pulled like a s.o.b.!! Then drilled a small hole through the new wheels and glued the same pins back in.

I actually went a little further and raised the height of the truck with stryrene in the wheel wells.

Wow! When i saw the words "alternators ironhide" i thought "sigh, yet another alt prime repaint" but your is fantastic! Those big chunky wheels really set it off! Also, where do his bumpers go in bot mode and what kinda paint do you use?

Oh very nice, I love the dragstrip. Is the head totally from scratch or based off an existing head?

've seen my share of Alt Prime repaints but yours stands out. Great use of colours and that Ironhide head is great. Really captures the feel of the G1 old, worn soldier.

WM, pk and I were talking the other night about this Ironhide and we both speculated it was you who made it. Good call, pk!

I also agree that it's great to see you still making customs! I'm also glad to see you posting em here too! :thumb

The Dragstrip head was trimmed and modded from Mirage. I used some Milliput(modelers putty)for the shapes needed and then painted him in his G1 toon colors. I usually use "Krylon Fusion" for the larger areas and "Testors Enamels" for smaller details.

I must say I`ve really enjoyed doing the kitbashing thing with my luv of Transformers, but I must hang up my Dremel and put away the paints because of work, school and family. I really do appreciate all of the positive replys and the constructive criticisms through the last few years. I`ve met some really nice people here on the boards, who have been really supportive and will miss them. Hopefully one day I can return and all of you will still be here.

I have one last custom that I will post of Classics Ultra Magnus(nothing real special) and thats it for me. Hopefully not though. Who knows what the future holds. "See you in another life brothers"-Desmond from "Lost". :rip

While I REALLY hate to hear you hanging up the tools, I do understand. I just hope that you'll be able to come back to the table someday soon. Your work has always been top notch and it's a shame that it'll be a while before we see anything new from you again. :(

Regardless, I wish you well in each and every one of your endeavors. :)

. . . and remember, TFW2005.com and the Radicons are always here for ya :thumb

Darn....oh well, thats what makes us adults.....real life comes first over hobbies.

Do what you gotta do man....I too will miss your work. I've always been a fan, and always will be.

Hopefully we'll see some more cool stuff from you sometime in the future :thumb
