Just some very minor mod where I used Specialist Ratchet from DOTM. removed the hands and the head, replaced it with a spare RTS Perceptor head I have, used a different hand and the head crest from a junker brave toy I have. Some minor touch ups and nothing else. This concept is where the movieverse meets with the G1 continuity. Thanks for looking. Alt mode is usually unchanged, but I am sure SOME will always ask for alt mode pics even there are minor or NO changes to the alt mode. So, for those insisting for alt mode pics, here are some. The gun stores between the gap in alt mode, so there are no loose parts.
looks great! Interesting to see a new hybrid style-I have a real fondness for customs that combine movie-G1 aesthetics.
Looks pretty awesome but I'm not really seeing Ratchet. More of a new character along the lines of a more ancient TF or like Sentinel Prime. I do think this head works well on him. Heck it could be a hybrid Perceptor if you just used the stock head
I can definitely see a Ratchet here. I was actually thinking of using this mold for an earth mode Soundwave.
If I could make a suggestion, a little more white on his robot mode would go a long way and make this really look like a hybrid Ratchet. As it is, the overmuch red is giving me a Sentinel Prime/Inferno/Ironhide vibe more that Ratchet. Still, amazing, and very inspirational. The Perceptor head, in particular, is a nice touch.

Looking to invoke some dynamic anime feel... Thanks! Must be the red color. As for Perceptor, I have a Hybrid kitbash in the works. Soundwave? That can work too.....if only I can get a spare WFC Soundwave head..... Thanks all! Yup, that's I was gunning for Hmmm...maybe later when I get hold of a second Specialist Ratchet. Excellent work, Symon! I think it looks great as-is and if you do another, I'm looking forward to seeing it also! Now I want this mold to see how a Trailbreaker might work from it. The body on this new DOTM mold seems to invoke a more G1 feel, so I think that would make a nice one also.

SWEET! I love all the DLX Ratchet molds, but especially they're more retro-color versions, I think they work great as classics'ish base models! LOVE the head and crest choice on this one!

I REALLY like this. I would like it even more if the red and white were reversed on the body, but as it stands, it's top-notch work and it screams "Ratchet" in a way that not even the Universe/Classics mold did.
