Okay, folks, this is probably going to be my last custom figure, ever. I don't have time to customize and do work for Reprolabels, so I'm getting out of the custom figure game. This was for a very patient customer, who wanted a Classics Slipstream for his collection. Started with the HFTD mold, and ordered the Slipstream head by Fakebusker (just an awesome piece, truly) and scratch built a rifle. Krylon flat base coat, Model Master enamel highlights, and Testors Dullcote flat clear finish. Love this combination of colors. Once again, comments and criticisms welcome, and thanks for looking. Its been a fun couple of years, and I'll probably get the itch to break out the brushes again, but for now I'll leave it to those of you who know what you're doing.
she looks awsome! paint aps are really cool, they almost make the alt mode look longer. Other than the elbows I don't see an other rubs either. Sweet
excellent work. love the paint and rifle the most. very tempted to make one of my own now . the only thing i'm not liking is the neck but that can be easily overlooked. again, excellent work
Goodness...I'm not the 'customer' am I? Cuz I'd really loove to have her on my shelf! The piece is really well done and I love how you carried out the colours. I was hoping to see a little more gloss though but that's a minor thing. Can I have your permission to feature one of the photos on the Shapeways page? You'll receive artist's credit!
That is very cool man, love it! I just picked up 3 of these molds for some customs coming down the pipe....
