My first custom toy. Haven't done any airbrushing/spray painting so it's a bit sloppy some points because I found out about liquid film after I was done but overall I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Used masking tape and some blue tack lying around. Hasbro=LoveNever use blue tack. It's a fracking pain to remove from nooks and crevices.

    Testing look with cardboard.

And you all made fun of Yamato 1/60's...stuff's useful!! Packing tape to hold it in place.

    Added the aeriel refueling prong.

Nice job man Takara=Love good to see that someone else tries to do airwolf, they should remake that show :D  Takara=Love I see you had problem with the tail as well, I think all the detail grooves in the tail allows the paint to run, Takara=Love when I get my hand on another Evac, Takara=Love I should fix the tail, Takara=Love and also looking to adding on other parts. Takara=Love

Takara=Love = me joking in good fun :)

Gah!! Where did all those Hasbro=Love come from? Stupid cut and paste. Thanks for all the positive comments. Yeah the tail section was a pain. Masking tape sucks, blue tack wasn't bad, I'll try liquid film on the next custom I do. Hopefully that fills up the detail groves. Someday I'll buy an airbrush....when compressors drop in price!! Until then it's Krylon Spray paint!(props to Matrix Soul for that bit of advice.)

I want that Aoshima Airwolf! Does the wheel retract? is there any moving parts in terms of weapons?

According to the instructions the wheels retract and you can replace the closed weapons doors with open doors with weapons deployed.
