Ok, so it's not a Transformer, but it is Sci-Fi and pretty cool IMO...

With great reluctance, I have decided to sell my Star Trek:TNG Enterprise D model. I just don't have a good place for it and I would hate it if it got damaged or filthy as it is by far the best Enterprise model paint job I've ever seen (outside of Paramount of course).

The ship was professionally built from a model kit. During assembly, the builder made some internal structure modifications to help strengthen its weak points in the saucer section and main fuselage. The paint is VERY detailed, and the decals were all carefully applied. The cheesy original stand has been replaced by a custom stand.

The ship is approximately 18" long by 13.5" wide.

I love it so, but as I don't have room for it, I really hope it goes to a true fan who can give it a good home.

If you're interested, I have an eBay auction running for the ship here.

Here are some photos of the ship from my Flickr site (click them to go to the Flickr page where you can see them larger):

Just want to drop in and say - absolutely gorgeous work. I've done starships for years and this one is really impressive.

That's quite impressive, and the amount of money you're getting for it is even more so. I hope that a true fan gets it too, something like that shouldn't be bought just to play around with, well good luck.

OMG - that is gorgeous! I know these threads aren't for discussion, but man, that is fantastic. I hope you pull in at least $500 for it.

Not my thing, but emailed the auction to my father. He's getting more and more into the collectibles side of his inner Star Trek fan.

That is simply beautiful...and this is coming from someone raised on TNG.

BTW. Is that the Enterprise-D they used to sell in the Star Trek: Communicator magazine?

    It sure looks like it.

Not sure which Enterprise is sold in Communicator, but this is a 1:1400 scale customized from the AMT/Ertl model kits (as seen here).

Ok, I'll bite.. not buy but bite.

Looks like a 1:1400 AMT kit with JT Decals on it. Awesome paintjob, but needs a bit of work around the base of the neck.

What colors did you use for the two tone aztek pattern? I'm thinking light ghost grey and duckeggblue.

I've built a few of them myself, perhaps you should chime in at the another place.....
We'd sure like to have yah around!
