    Hello again!

A while back I posted pics of the Grimlock Baby Qee I made. My intention was to eventually create versions of all the Dinobots. I finished Slag a while ago but was too lazy to post him. Since I just recently completed Swoop, I figured I would put up some pics so people could see what I have done so far.

These guys are all patterned after their original G-1 cartoon models. After I finished Grimlock, I got my hands on a great modeling compound called Magic-Sculpt that air dries hard. I also finally bought a dremel. That allowed me a lot more flexibility with both Slag and Swoop. For Swoop, I had to create an almost entirely new head sculpt. The interior of which actually contains foam to reduce weight. Obviously the wings, tail and back details are new. I also modified his existing feet and added transformed robot arms. For Slag, I pretty much just added the tail, head armaments and back details. Line details are mostly created using ink and brush. Swoop and Slag both have one point of articulation (their heads turn) while Grimlock has three as he can also move his arms.

I've already started working up designs for Snarl and Sludge to complete the set.

Edit: Added an example pic of a blank Baby Qee.

These are fantastic! I am very impressed with the level of detail that you've managed to achieve with these little guys! As has already been said, they are absolutely adorable and I feel that any fan would be proud to display them in their collection!

I loved your Grimmy, and I love these two just as much, although I have to say that IMO, Swoop steals the show for me....he's just so little and cute!!

Ah, these are brilliant! Much better than the Mighty Muggs Grimlock. I wish you worked for Hasbro!
